Aaron Doubles Down on Turkey Trots

"There's nothing like your local Turkey Trot. I love catching up with friends and family over Thanksgiving break and taking a moment to reflect on all there is to be thankful for.

The best part about Thanksgiving is earning your meal. One faithful year I signed up for the Bow Police Association Turkey Trot while visiting friends and family registered for the Galloping Gobbler. At first I was bummed to be running different races. However, I looked into start times and crunched the numbers. It seemed feasible to run a 5K at 9:00 AM in Bow and race over to Bishop Brady for the 10:00 AM 4-Miler start. This 7.1 mile circuit is a great way to run some quality miles, catch up with friends, and enjoy some guilt free Thanksgiving gluttony."
